Our History 1961 - 1989

HEP Sales has been providing Central New York and Northern Pennsylvania with quality products at competitive prices for over 50 years.

Beginning in 1961 and continuing today, our goal and philosophy as a company is simple; satisfy the customer. We accomplish this by providing our customers with the finest-quality products at the lowest possible price, every day.

1961: HEP Sales started as Timberline Electric Supply Corporation (eventually H.E.P. Materials Corp)

1962-69: Heating, Electric & Plumbing supply stores opened in Phelps, Canandaigua, Horseheads, Cortland, Newark, Ithaca, and Auburn

1973: Sayre, Pennsylvania, HEP Sales opens

1983: Phelps store moves to Geneva on Rte 14

1986: Ithaca store re-opens as HEP Sales
